Worcester Racecourse 10th October

Four runners at Worcester today.

2.45 - Ballymalin is a course and distance winner from a mark of 138 back in September ‘17, his last win. He’s had some good places since but now finds himself down to 122, a mark from which he was second over 3m 5f at Lingfield in February. Returned from a break at Warwick a couple of weeks ago. Maybe a little rusty that day, he should go well here and has as good a chance as any in a competitive handicap, but we are hopeful. Tom Bellamy rides.

3.20 - Waitonit makes his bumper debut, his only other run being in an Irish point in April, when falling at the last. Looked likely to win that day and has shown ability since joining us. Our bumper runners have gone well so far this term and hopefully another good one here. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

3.50 - Mossy Fen makes his racecourse debut having had two Irish points, the latter of which he won over 3m in April. Goes straight over hurdles here and a trip of 2m 7f, with the good to soft ground similar to that win and also to suit. A good run expected, Sam aboard.

4.55 - Darling Alko joined us from the Sam Thomas yard in May and has shown some promise in a couple of hurdles outings, finishing 4th in a maiden and mid-division in a novice event on his seasonal debut just over two weeks ago. Sticks to 2m here, but has come on for the run and may prove to be good each way value at a decent price here. Sam rides.
