Wetherby Racecourse 1st November

Three go to Wetherby today, all with Sam Twiston-Davies riding.

3.05 - Splash Of Ginge makes his seasonal debut, his last outing being at the Cheltenham festival in March when finishing down the field in a handicap chase from a mark of 137. He’s had a good break, returns refreshed and 3lbs lower, which is the mark he ran off when last winning at Cheltenham in November ‘17. Suited by trip and ground, a good run expected with each way chances.

3.40 - Robinshill won very nicely over fences at Worcester just 9 days ago from 122 to earn a new chase mark of 132. This versatile performer returns to the smaller obstacles here on his previous hurdles mark of 115, so looks to have plenty in hand. Over a similar trip and ground, he should go very well and we have to be confident of a follow up, but this is a competitive event and he will still need to be at his best.

4.10 - Redford Road has had a couple of bumpers showing promise on his debut when second at Huntingdon in March, then fulfilling that promise when winning at Warwick five weeks ago. Makes his hurdles debut in another competitive looking event, but the bumper form looks good and he looks sure to improve for the obstacles. A good run expected.
