Team Twiston Runners 6th February

One to Doncaster Racecourse and two to Huntingdon Racecourse today.

Doncaster Racecourse

1.23 - Imperial Nemesis has had just the one chase, taking 4th place of 10 at Wetherby over 3m on soft ground, losing a shoe in the process. He’s always show ability at home but yet to show that in full on the racecourse, but showed glimpses in that race. He’s on what looks a useful mark of 102 here and if he can also show some improvement for the good to soft ground, then he will have a good each way chance. Improvement expected, Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

Huntingdon Racecourse

2.01 - Rizzardo has had four chases, showing improvement each time, with two runners up spots in the latest over 2m 4f at Warwick and 2m 6+f at Leicester both on good to soft going. He goes from top weight and a mark of 107 here and drops back to 2m 4f on similar ground, but with a little more to come, is capable of going close again. Zac Baker rides and takes off 5lbs.

3.40 - Whiskey Moon makes his handicap hurdle debut but also steps up significantly in trip to 3m 1f. Has won a point over 3m but not made an impact in a couple of hurdles outings over shorter trips, but could be on a good mark of 95 here. Looks sure to show more and may just have a decent each way chance. Mark Grant aboard.
