Team Twiston Fakenham & Uttoxeter Racecourse

Three go to Fakenham Racecourse and two to Uttoxeter Racecourse today for Nigel Twiston-Davies & Team Twiston

Fakenham Racecourse

1.35 - Bitontheside makes her chasing debut and meets just two rivals in this 2m 5f mares novices handicap. Has done well over timber with two wins in the summer and a third three weeks ago. Has schooled nicely and looks to have a very good chance of making the winners enclosure again. Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

2.10 - Elmdale makes his rules debut going straight over hurdles having done well in Irish points last year with two second spots and a third from four outings, showing plenty of promise. Has come on for that over the summer and should show plenty more here, with the 2m 4f on good ground expected to suit him. Meets just four rivals, all with experience, a good debut run expected and can go close. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

3.40 - One Forty Seven won nicely on his seasonal debut at Southwell Racecourse the end of July after an eight month break, then followed up with a 4th at Uttoxeter under 6lbs more on 130. Was pulled up last time at Stratford but maybe that race came too soon and he didn’t show his true running. A bit of a longer break now has helped him and with this 3m to suit, can give a much better show. Sam Twiston-Davies aboard.

Uttoxeter Racecourse

1.50 - Checkitout joined us from the Charlie Longsdon yard at the beginning of this month and though due to run a week later, didn’t run because of the ground. He makes his chase and handicap debut here with the soft ground more in his favour. He showed promise in hurdles over a similar trip to today’s 2m 6+f and with a good run expected, may be good each way value at this mornings prices. Tom Bellamy in the saddle.

2.23 - Kingsplace makes his handicap debut in this 2m 7+f hurdle having shown up nicely over similar trips without getting his head in front. Looks to be on a reasonable mark, but having summered well and with improvement expected, we are hopeful of making the frame. Tom Bellamy rides.
