Team Twiston Doncaster Cheltenham

Four runners today for Team Twiston equally split between Doncaster Racecourse & Cheltenham Racecourse.

Doncaster Racecourse

12.20 - Jelski won nicely by a wide margin in a novice event at Bangor but didn’t go so well on his handicap bow finishing mid-division, though we feel went better than the bare form suggests. Down a pound to 122 today, but still top weight in a highly competitive event. Looks sure to be thereabouts and a good each way prospect. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

12.55 - Al Dancer started the season with a good win at Cheltenham on his chase debut and a couple of races since has gone well from the same mark. Still progressive at this trip so with more to come, course and ground should suit and a good run can be expected, Sam rides.

Cheltenham Racecourse

1.50 - Count Meribel thrives on racing but given a good break as goes well fresh. Has good form on this track, enjoys it here having won back in November ‘18 off of 137. The ride since has taken him to 145 but very capable of coping with that and can again be thereabouts. Regular pilot Mark Grant rides and a good run expected.

2.25 - Bristol De Mai needs no introduction with some excellent form behind him with his 3rd in the Gold Cup. His reappearance second at Haydock still represented good form and will again go well here, with more to come this season. Probably best form on view. Should go close, Daryl Jacob rides.
