Sunday's Racing from Ludlow Racecourse

Two runners at Ludlow today.

3.40 - Equus Millar is a course and distance winner winning from a mark of 118 at this meeting last year, but after further wins at Uttoxeter and Perth in September, went up to a high of 131. Ran creditably up in grade at Chepstow and Cheltenham before finishing down the field at Ayr four weeks ago after a break of five months. Gets back 3lbs for today and may have needed the run last time. Looks to have good each way chances of repeating last years run, Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

4.50 - Bishopswood Flyer has had two runs only, both in five runner novice hurdles over 3m or so, finishing last in both. Showed inexperience in the first of those at Perth in September but went well for a long way at Uttoxeter in March before fading late on. Expected to show improvement as gaining experience and a drop back to 2m 5f may also help today in this novice hurdle. Sam rides.
