Two at Southwell Racecourse today.

12.40 - Double Court meets four rivals for this 2m 4+f handicap chase. Ran up a hat trick in late summer going from a mark of 92 to 112 in the process, the last of which was over hurdles, but possibly anchored a little on last two starts. However, maybe more to come over fences here, though would prefer faster ground than heavy. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

1.45 - Echiquier started the seen with a win at Hexham Racecourse on his debut for us. Has gone well in better company in two races since, at trips of 2m 3f to 3m but should find this 2m 4+f more to his liking. Has met heavy ground before when trained in France, and though probably preferring faster ground, can cope with these conditions. A good run expected, Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.
