Racing Leicester & Market Rasen

Two at Leicester Racecourse and one at Market Rasen Racecourse today.

Leicester Racecourse

12.45 - Rootless Tree won on his bumper debut at Huntingdon back in January, then finished 5th of 11 over the same trip of 1m 5+f at Fontwell in April, possibly a better race. Made a pleasing hurdles bow when 4th of 13 upped to 2m at Hereford mid-October. Sticks to a similar trip today and yet to encounter heavy ground, but more to come and improvement expected. Jamie Bargary on board.

1.20 - Rizzardo went well on his last outing four weeks ago to take second spot at Warwick over 2m 4f, showing improvement on his first two chases. Is down a pound after the Warwick race and steps up a couple of furlongs which is expected to suit, as should the ground. Is giving weight to all, but a good run expected and he can go close. Jamie Bargary rides.

Market Rasen

1.05 - Imperial Nemesis makes his seasonal debut having had a wind op in mid-September. Track and trip of 2m likely to be a little on the sharp side, but is working well at home post-op and can hopefully produce some improvement on the track. Is down 4lbs to 109 since his last outing when pulled up at Warwick in March and though conditions are not in his favour, may still have enough to be each way value. Jordan Nailor rides and takes off 6lbs.
