Newbury Racecourse 21st February
We run four at Newbury Racecourse today, where the going is good to soft.
1.15 - Gowel Road - Won in nice style over course and distance on heavy ground a month ago on just his third start and handicap bow. Picks up a 6lb penalty for that but on better ground here and with more to come, is expected to go well and can keep up the good work. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.
3.35 - Guard Your Dreams - Has gone very well this term, winning three of his four starts, two at Bangor on good to soft and soft and the latest, his handicap bow at Sandown on heavy in early January, all over 2m. That was from a mark of 128 and though up 7lbs today, is another making sufficient improvement to cope. This is a tougher race up in grade but we have a good record in the race and can prove good each way value. Sam aboard.
4.10 - Ballymoy - Returned to chasing last month after a spell hurdling, finishing 2nd of just three runners at Doncaster over 2m 4f on good to soft ground. Steps up to just short of 3m here on similar ground, but has taken a further fall in the handicap to 137, something that he looks very capable of taking advantage of. Daryl Jacob rides and a good run expected.
4.45 - I Like To Move It - Has made an unbeaten start to his career taking both his junior 3yo bumpers at Aintree and Wincanton in nice style, by 9 1/2 and 8 1/2 lengths respectively. Goes in to this with improvement expected and getting weight from his elder rivals, looks to have a good chance of running up the hat trick. Sam in the saddle.
