Market Rasen & Ffos Las Racecourse

Four to Market Rasen and one to Ffos Las...

Market Rasen

3.30 - Larch Hill won over course and distance 18 days ago and though up 6lbs, looks poised to carry on the good work with more to come. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

4.05 - El Terremoto won on his chase debut 6 outings ago but with a couple of places and a couple of falls since, has a mixed record. On a decent mark here and will be suited by the good ground and trip, should go well and can go close. Daryl Jacob in the saddle.

4.40 - Astracad meets just three rivals but has been in good form winning two outings ago from 5lbs lower than today’s 109 at Newcastle, though down the field from that mark last time at Wetherby over a shorter trip than today’s 3m. Sam rides and another good run expected.

5.10 - Emphatic Qualm makes his debut in the bumper. Well related to bumper and point winners, he’s shown plenty at home and is one to note for the future, but can go well here and not without a chance, Sam rides.

Ffos Las

4.55 - Volcano has three 3rds, two 2nds and a 5th from six outings this term and deserves to get his head in front. This looks a good opportunity and the 2m 6f on good ground will suit. A good run expected, hopefully gaining that win, Jordan Nailor rides and takes off 7lbs.
