Arthur's Gift on the gallops with Jessica Grulich

Six runners equally split between Hereford and Exeter today.

12.56 - Undersupervision - Makes his rules debut going straight over hurdles and a trip of 3m 1+f coming off the back of an Irish point win over 3m in October. Looks to have a lot of potential but very hopeful of making a successful bow here. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

1.55 - Guy - A comfortable winner on his chase debut at Huntingdon mid-October, a rise of 12lbs saw him still go well and take second a couple of weeks later at Wetherby, both at around 2m 4f. The win came on good ground and though meeting heavy for the first time today, is expected to cope. Over 2m 5f here, is expected to go well and can go close. Sam aboard.

2.40 - Ballybough Mary - makes her rules bow in the bumper with two Irish points behind her, where she was second and then won, both in October. Has shown plenty at home and hopeful of a good run today. Sam rides.

1.35 - Vienna Court - Went well to take third spot at Bangor on her chase debut last month. Over 2m 1+f that day and again today, she goes from the same mark of 130. Has coped with heavy ground before, looks progressive and has a good opportunity to better that third place. Jordan Nailor rides and takes off 5lbs.

2.40 - Arthur’s Gift - made a satisfactory seasonal bow at Cheltenham in November, finishing 5th of 11 from a mark of 133 over 3m 1f. Looks sure to have come on for that run and down 3lbs sees him on the same mark as his last win. Will be suited by this 3m on heavy and has good each way chances. Jordan rides and his 5lb claim can prove useful.

3.50 - Another Frontier - Won from a mark of 118 but some time ago now and goes from 97 here. Suited by both trip and ground from previous form and needs to show more than on his two outings so far this season. Has it in him though and hopeful of a return to form today. Well handicapped and could prove good each way value. Finn Lambert rides in this amateur riders handicap hurdle.
