Grand National day and we send five to Aintree and two to Chepstow. Aintree

2.25 - One For Rosie has two wins and two places to his credit from four runs this season all around the 2m 4f of today’s trip and steps up in grade here. Goes from strength to strength and another big run on the cards, Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

3.40 - Wholestone was second in this race last year and started the season with a course win. Has been running in top level races and was a good fifth in the stayers hurdle at Cheltenham. Looks sure to in with a good each way shout here, is in very good form and can go close. Daryl Jacob rides.

5.15 - We run two in the Grand National and both have the credentials to surprise at big odds.

Go Conquer comes into the race with a win over 3m at Doncaster to his credit last time in January and has been rested in preparation for today. Up to a mark of 157 for that, there is more to come and granted the usual luck in running, can make a bold effort. Sam rides.

Ballyoptic went down by just a nose in the Scottish National back in April and it’s surprising how much form from that race works out in this. Hasn’t shown that form since but has had this in mind all season and though falling here in December, also had a good run to be 6th in the Welsh National and can have another good run here.Tom Bellamy gets the ride.

6.20 - Locker Room Talk won nicely last time at Huntingdon in a maiden race and steps up in grade here for his handicap bow. A mark of 130 looks fair and he can continue the good progress and can go close. Looks good each way value, Jack Savage rides and takes off 7lbs.

4.40 - Imperial Acolyte makes his handicap bow too, having had a wind op. Won nicely at Wetherby on his hurdles debut at Wetherby in November having shown promise in his only bumper. Goes back to 2m here and looks sure to go well from a decent mark of 117. Jamie Bargary rides, each way chances.

6.05 - Jelski has his fourth bumper run here. A winner at Ffos Las two runs ago, he brought up the rear in the festival bumper st Cheltenham, not really showing his best. This looks much more up his street and can return to the form shown at Ffos Las and has good each way chances, Jamie aboard.
