Chepstow Racecourse
We have four runners at Chepstow Racecourse today.
3.25 - Kingsplace was second here over 4f further than today’s 2m 7+f about 4 weeks ago. That form was boosted with the winner going very well at the Cheltenham Festival and with improvement to come, this looks a good opportunity. Should be well suited by the step up and can go close, but we would hope for better. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.
4.00 - Angels Antics showed improvement at Uttoxeter at the end of January to take a good 3rd of 11 from a mark of 117, his 4th chase. Down 2lbs today will help his cause, as will today’s 2m 7+f, but with more to come we are hopeful he can go close too. A good run expected, Sam rides.
5.05 - Vienna Court makes her racecourse debut in the mares bumper. She’s pleased at home, shown she is ready and can run a very good race here. Another where hopes are high, Sam in the saddle.
5.40 - Double Ross has his third Hunter Chase and steps up from 2m to a trip he’s more used to, 2m 7+f. Although still a good second last time, this should bring out more in him and with a further 3lb drop to 122, this looks a very good opportunity for him. Zac Baker rides and a good run can be expected.
