Cheltnham Festival

Day one of the Cheltenham Festival and we have two runners.

1.30 - Al Dancer is unbeaten in his four hurdles this season including a course win here in December over 2m 1f on good ground and the Betfair Hurdle at Ascot just over 3 weeks ago on good to soft in particularly fine style. He’s done everything asked of him, Is still very progressive with more to come. The conditions will suit as he’ll go on any ground and we are very hopeful of another big run. Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

2.50 - Flying Angel is down to 8lbs below his last winning mark of 150, but that win at Aintree was nearly two years ago now. Probably harshly treated by the handicapper after that win, he’s back to a rating that can give him a chance and ran well from the same mark to take second over 2m 5f at Ascot in November. He steps up to 3m 1f today, is in good form and could run a good race at a big price. Sam rides.
