Ayr Racecourse & Fontwell Racecourse

Two runners today.

Ayr 2.20 Equus Millar hasn’t been out since November, but started the season with two good handicap wins, which took him from a mark of 114 to 131. Back a pound here, he goes from top weight, but the break will have helped him and he can put in a good performance here back fresh. Looks to have good each way prospects, Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Fontwell 5.30 Rootless Tree won on his racecourse and bumper debut at Huntingdon in January over 1m 5+f a month ago and goes over the same trip but slightly faster ground here. He looks very progressive and though this looks a decent bumper, he can continue the good work. Tom Bellamy in the saddle.
