Four at Ayr and two at Bangor today.

Ayr

3.35 Scottish National
Blue Flight has three wins and two places from five runs this season and has made big strides going from a rating of 121 to 148, all bar one at trips around 3m. Although only 6yo, this step up to 4m should suit and a good run expected. Callum Bewley rides. Cogry on the other hand is highly experienced at these long distance races and was a narrowly beaten second in this two years ago. Is 2lbs higher on 139 than last year when pulled up but won at Cheltenham from that mark in December. Expected to go well again, Sam Twiston-Davies rides. Arthur’s Gift won at Carlisle over 3m in February but pulled up last time at Uttoxeter when up to 138, though didn’t like the heavy ground that day. Gets a pound back here but with good ground, should produce a much better performance and can go close, Tom Bellamy in the saddle.

5.20 - Guy makes his debut in the bumper having pleaded at home. Well related to a hurdles winner over 2m in France, he looks very promising and will come on for the experience. Should go well and has each way chances, Sam rides.

Bangor

5.05 - Don’t Shout makes his second bumper appearance having finished mid division of 11 at Warwick on his debut. Has come on a lot for the run and should be much more competitive today. Another with each way chances, Jordan Nailor rides and claims 7lbs.

5.40 - Maria Francesca has also had one bumper run when finishing down the field in a competitive event at Ascot in February, running very green. She too has come on for the experience and should show much more today, Jordan rides.
