Two at Uttoxeter this afternoon with Sam Twiston-Davies aboard both.
4.55 - Papradon won two in a row over around 3 miles last year, the first from a mark of 107, then again off 116, but a rise to 123 next time proved restrictive even if steadily coming down over the lady four outings to 118 today. Pulled up last time at Southwell, today's sharper trip of 2m 4f on favoured good ground will help, but he's still two pounds above his last winning mark. He will run well and may make the places even so.
5.25 - Goat Castle won two outings ago at Bangor over 2m 1f on similar ground to today, but went up 8 lbs for that and subsequently ran down the field at Worcester. He hadn't been out for nearly a year though and is back down a couple of pounds now. He should go well and looks to have decent each way prospects over a trip and ground he will appreciate.
