Nigel Twiston Davies

Nigel Twiston-Davies is one of our leading National Hunt Trainers.

Having ridden himself he has experience both in and out of the saddle.

Amongst his successes, he is the only current trainer to have won the Grand National more than once and all five races over the national fences races at Aintree.

Amid many accomplishments at Cheltenham, a memorable day entails three wins in succession at the 2010 Cheltenham Festival, including the Totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Christie's Foxhunter Chase and the Jonny Henderson Grand Annual Challenge Handicap Chase.

Nigel himself will probably tell you that his most celebrated and proud moments are watching his two sons, Sam and Willy. Sam won the Christie's Foxhunter Chase on Baby Run at the mere age of 17. His brother, Willy, also on board Baby Run is the youngest jockey to have won the Foxhunter Chase at Aintree, aged just 16 at the time.

Nigel's work in the world of National Hunt Racing continues to thrive as he seems to surprise with incredible feats when we least expect it.
