Three to Aintree today.
2.50 - Bristol De Mai aims to get back to winning ways having started off the season with wins at Wetherby and Haydock prior to finishing down the field in the King George, then a third in the Cotswold Chase in January. The trip and ground suit and having had a wind op since his last run, is very well and in good order. Looks to have at least an excellent each way chance here, but we would hope for better and another good run expected, Daryl Jacob in the saddle.
3.25 - The New One needs no introduction and won this race four years ago. Finished down the Field in the stayers hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival but dropping back to 2m 4f here is sure to suit and he too looks to be excellent each way value. Sam Twiston-Davies rides and yet another good run anticipated.
4.40 - Robinshill won two handicap chases at Ludlow from marks of 131 and 137 respectively, both in November on good and good to soft ground over 2m but pulled up next time up to 143, before an outing at Cheltenham Festival when last of five to Footpad. Back down to 140 over 2m on good to soft and lower grade, will be much more to his liking and though he needs to find a little more, he may well feature in the shake up here. Tom Bellamy takes the ride.
