Five runners across three meetings, starting at Warwick.
1.30 - Sartene’s Son has had four runs, one bumper and three hurdles, but finished down the field in three completions, for the main part going well until the closing stages. Trying a new trip of 2m 5f, he has to find some more here, but hopeful that is coming with experience. Improvement expected, Jamie Bargary rides.
3.15 - Templehills won this race last year and made a good seasonal debut seven weeks ago when runner up at Chepstow. With conditions very similar he has every chance of repeating last years run when he made all and another bold effort is expected. Regular pilot Dave Crosse rides.
We also run Cogry in this, who usually runs at 3m plus, but he ran well in this event two years ago when 3rd and should go well again. He unseated his rider at the first at Sandown last week, but had previously gone well over 3m 5f to be second at Newbury. A good run expected with each way credentials, Jamie rides.
1.55 - Ballymoy has had a bumper when he finished 3rd of 11 and a novice hurdle, finishing a promising 5th of 16 at Wetherby. Though he’s yet to encounter heavy ground, he looks to have a very good chance of opening his account here. Tom Bellamy aboard.
4.40 - Good Boy Bobby is two from two in his bumpers, both wins coming at Chepstow. He steps up in class here, but with plenty to come should be the one they have to beat. Another good run expected, Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.
