Three at Ludlow and one at Newbury today.
1.50 – Robins Hill was very unlucky over course and distance two weeks ago, unseating his rider at the last when clear and looking sure to win. Up 4lbs since then to 131, he looks to have a similar chance here and barring accidents, can make amends. Zac Baker rides, takes off 5lbs and the pair should go very well.
3.30 – Bring Back Charlie is highly consistent and nearly always manages to get placed or finish close up, but with just one win to his credit. That was from a mark of 87 just over a year ago and he’s been up to 93 and hovering between those marks ever since. Off 93 again today, he looks sure to run another good race and can get amongst them yet again. Very hopeful he can make the winners enclosure with Tom Humphries taking off 3lbs.
4.05 – Imperial Nemesis makes his racecourse debut in the bumper and with 3 winners from our last four bumper runners, we are hopeful of continuing. He’s a large type, will benefit hugely from the experience and looks sure to make a chaser in time, so anything he achieves before going chasing would be a bonus. Has shown up well at home and should go well, Jamie Bargary rides and takes off 3lbs.
1.40 – Colin’s Brother won in November from a mark of 114 then followed up from 7lbs higher in December.up a further 7lbs for his last two starts saw him pull up then finish 3rd of 4 last time. Having had a good break, he returns fresh, 2lbs better off and in good form. A good run expected and looks to have a good chance over this 2m 4f. Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.
