PADDY BRENNAN
Born in Ardrahan, Galway on 13th April 1981, Paddy started his racing career with Jim Bolger in Ireland, coming to England as a conditional jockey in 2002. He spent 3 seasons with Phillip Hobbs, winning the Conditional Championship for the 2004/05 season. Riding principally for J Howard Johnson during 2006, he amassed 80 wins, including partnering Inglis Drever to his second World Hurdle victory at Cheltenham last March. Paddy has ridden over 260 winners to date
and having been appointed stable jockey here at Grange Hill Farm, is looking forward to partnering plenty more this coming season. He is particularly looking forward to riding Fundamentalist, who looks to be coming back to his best now.
Outside racing, Paddy is very keen on football, being a Manchester United fan and also enjoys playing golf, for which he has a handicap of 20. |

DAVID ENGLAND - Conditional
Aged 20, David is in his third season with us. David has now ridden a total of 28 winners, the majority for us, and has also enjoyed many point-to-point rides and winners for local trainers. He was selected for the FEGENTRI series in 2006, where he rode in Germany. He rode 2 winners out of three rides but also then unfortunately took a fall and suffered a broken vertebrae. Following a further spell off through injury last season, and now happily recovered, he has had a couple of rides so far this season and is looking forward to really getting into the swing when the season "proper" kicks off, this time as conditional jockey.(Claims 5lbs). |

TONY EVANS
Tony has been with Nigel for 9 years having held a licence since September 1998, firstly as an amateur for 6 years before turning conditional. Tony has ridden over 100 career winners to date and hails from a racing family, being the son of successful Abergavenney-based trainer Dave. So if you want to get on at this yard it obviously helps to be Welsh! Tony has ridden in America, Malaysia, Germany and Spain, representing Britain in the FEGENTRI series in 2000. He names his highlight of being here as Beau winning The Whitbread Gold Cup.
