Jump For Fun has now been “jumping” for the best part of a year now and has created a lot of interest generally as well as attracting a healthy membership base.  At the time of writing we’ve sent out over 150 information packs and we have 30 “converts” intent on sharing some N.H fun over the months ahead.

Ballyshan, the Club’s first horse, has now raced six times since our formation, finishing 2nd at Leicester, 3rd at Windsor, 2nd again at Wetherby, before finally winning at Chepstow. This was followed by another 2nd this time at Market Rasen and then an unplaced effort at Sandown on ground that was probably too fast. He has now earned his grateful owners over £7,000 in prize money.

Ace of Clubs is the the second horse for the club and his debut 3rd in a bumper leaves us full of hope for the season ahead. A novice hurdles campaign beckons following his recent 2nd to kick off the 06/07 campaign.

We are hopeful of getting our third horse in the near future and details will be up on the website or included in the next newsletter shortly.  The aim still is to have 3 horses running under JFF ownership but inevitably this is linked to membership numbers.
